Acceptable Use & Intellectual Property

Version 2026-10-14 · Effective 14 October 2026

Quantar's analysis, methods and software are the product of a great deal of original work. This page says what you may and may not do with them.

1. What Quantar owns

Quantar and its licensors own the software, source code, the market-intelligence methodology, models, scoring, rankings, research, written analysis, charts and visualisations, documentation, the Quantar name and logo, and the selection and arrangement of content. They are protected by copyright, database rights, trade marks and the law of confidential information.

Quantar does not claim ownership of exchange market data, third-party content, open-source components (used under their own licences) or content you post.

2. Your content

You keep ownership of what you post (journal notes, Desk messages, reviews, your profile picture). You give Quantar a licence to host and display it to provide the service: Desk posts to the people you post to, and approved reviews on Quantar's public pages.

3. You must not

4. What happens if you do
